Rules of a Gentleman

Life is not as serious as anyone may ever put it, a true gentleman consciously takes time out to laugh, joke and smile. (I've learned this the hard way). His smile, laughter and warmth should be contagious enough to change the course of  people's day for the positive and for the better. He's not stuck on himself, he builds himself and as he does so builds others around him as he aims for the top. The road to ultimate success is a personal/lone journey but not an empty road. Behind every strong pillar that has ever been for society, are a thousand more pillars that support him. A gentleman is conscious of this, and allows this principle to guide him as he makes decisions and never neglects the pillars that held and support him.

Rules of a Gentleman - Practical Steps to Excellence

In creating, working and implementing goals and visions, a gentleman takes time to visualize his goals already in his mind, as if he had achieved them with lots of excitement. He should take time to acclimatize himself to the way his goals would feel, smell, and if applicable taste, and how he would respond to these goals - his bodily reactions to his day to day living. This helps put it in the subconscious mind and what you think eventually is who you are/become.  For more insight on this, read tips on my other blog:

A Gentleman understands the importance of goals and their role in paving a Gent's direction in whatsoever endeavors. He knows it is important to have his goals written out - in ink and paper. A Gentleman knows what he wants to achieve specifically. He knows specification is the key to a focused, directed gent.

Rules of a gentleman #4

A Gentleman understands appropriation and the importance of keeping everything moderate. He understands that anything done past moderate and modest amounts causes an imbalance in his general well being and in the long run is detrimental to his development. He is not one to over-indulge in his cares and wants regardless of his level of desire or passion. A gentleman is self-controlled and disciplines himself to master himself mentally, emotionally, socially, spiritually and physically.
